We are now interested in speaking with experienced Senior Consultants and Consultant Pediatric Anaesthetists to join the Qatar government funded national health service, who is the main provider of secondary and tertiary healthcare services with a multi-national workforce of over 29,000 professionals working in 12 hospitals, nine specialist hospitals and three community hospitals as well as the National Ambulance Service and home and residential care services.
The Anaesthetics Department takes care of all patients undergoing any type of surgery or sedation The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is also run by the Anaesthesia Department and takes care of all serious surgical cases before, during and after an operation. They also have a Pain Management Team which runs clinics and a separate department for chronic pain cases.

How much experience do I need?
Consultants: should have held a Consultant post for at least 1 year
Senior Consultants: should have held a Senior Consultant post for at least 1 year, or a period of 6 years consultant experience is required.
